Wireless intercoms are now available meaning that no cables are required to be installed from the entry location back to the property.

These systems can either run on DECT frequency (same as your cordless phones in the house) or via GSM (using a SIM card installed into the call panel and using a mobile network).

With the GSM option there are many added advantages over a normal hard wired intercoms. When the button is pressed at the call panel it will ring a landline or mobile number which will allow you then to have a conversation with the caller and then activate the gate or door using your telephones keypad.

Other advantages included having a 2nd number for the call to divert when there is no answer or the line is engaged.

Prefixed numbers can also be stored on the SIM card so when recognised will activate the gate or door to open.
